Gerry McCann said the same thing, however the McCanns went out of their way to prove the dogs were unreliable by going to the State's and referring to the the Eugune Zapata case, it turned out the dogs were correct and the McCanns never mentioned Eugune Zapata ever again.. ...

MADISON, Wis. -- Eugene Zapata entered a guilty plea on Monday to a reduced charge of homicide by reckless conduct in connection to his wife's disappearance 30 years ago and was sentenced to time behind bars.
Appearing in Dane County Circuit Court on Monday, Zapata was sentenced to five years in prison after entering the guilty plea. Zapata, 69, pleaded guilty as part of a deal with prosecutors. The sentence was the maximum sentence for the charge, WISC-TV reported.
Blanchard said because Jeanette Zapata's body was dumped in numerous Dumpsters at the landfill, there is no way to recover her remains.

Americans may be puzzled as to why the McCanns are so franctic to keep this book from the Worlds eyes, the book contains the Police files available online to the public. The police files explain why the McCanns were made arguidos (suspects) in the disappearance of their daughter Madeleine.TRANSWORLD are due to publish a book written by the McCanns with their 'version' of 'their truth', Why do the McCanns only wish the public to hear their version of events while preventing the public to decide for themselves as to what or whom to believe, a thorough Police Investigation , or parents without a shred of evidence who claim their daughter was abducted from her bed , refused to co-operate with the police when questioned, also fabricated a break -in ? A missing blue sports bag that also disappeared the same night as Madeleine . A sports bag Gerry McCann was seen with that afternoon but has since denied owning..

Cadaver dog indicated in the apartment, Madeleines mothers clothing, in the parents bedroom, the car and a small patch of garden under the apartment window ALSO a small childs T shirt...To add, a blue tennis bag belonging to Gerry McCann also disappeared the same evening as Madeleine, PR Guru Clarence Mitchel denied Gerry ever owned such a bag BUT Gerry McCann was seen with this bag on the tennis court the same day Madeleine disappeared. Mother refused to answer 48 questions..friends refused, including parents, to return to Portugal for a reconstruction. McCanns telephoned England and lied to family and friends the night they claim Madeleine was abducted telling them there had been a break-in and shutters were smashed and jemmied. Police report , no sign of broken entry !!... Staff member saw two cots in McCann apartment in SEPERATE rooms the day before Madeleine disappeared May 3rd the McCanns had placed both cots in the room they claim Madeleine was taken from ...Last but not least ,there is not one single shred of evidence there was an abduction, just the word of the parents...

Tony Hatfield has been worrying away about the role of Clarence Mitchell in acting on the behalf of the McCann family (quite where the brothers and sisters uncles and aunts begin and end is a little unclear) and e-mailed the Central Office of Information, to try and find out more about the former BBC employee who is so much in the limelight.Having received a reply which is described as confidential and copyright etc., he is happy to divulge what they had to say - Clarence Mitchell is on secondment to the Foreign Office (from the COI) for the specific purpose of "handling media relations related to the Madeleine McCann "disappearance" [ note not abduction - points out Tony] in Portugal".
Any further enquiries must be directed to the FCO - a not unfamiliar Sir Humphrey style exercise in not answering the question whilst at the same time elegantly passing the buck and closing off further enquiries.... and adding the merest soupcon of delay.
So (says Tony) this is the upshot. The British taxpayer seems to be paying for a media consultant to a private company with no charitable status and over £300,000 quid in the bank.
