What most people don’t realize about the Mormon Church is that according to Church founder Joseph Smith, God has commanded all Mormons to stockpile a year’s supply of food and other essentials in preparation of coming disasters. As a result of this commandment from God, the state of Utah has more or less become the preparation capital of the http://www.avantlink.com/click.php?tt=ml&ti=41265&pw=49779.
This may explain why a once small company like Wise Food Storage located in Salt Lake City, UT has become one of the largest and most respected companies selling emergency food supplies.
Another lesser know and less reported belief from the Mormon Church is the 1843 White Horse Prophecy as told by Church founder Joseph Smith.
The Latter Day Saints, according to the prophecy, would “go to the Rocky Mountains and … be a great and mighty people”, identified figuratively with the White Horse described in the Revelation of John. The prophecy further predicts that the United States Constitution will one day “hang like a thread” and will be saved “by the efforts of the White Horse”
What’s interesting here is that US senators Orrin Hatch and conservative commentator Glenn Beck, both Mormons, have stated that they also believe the Constitution is “hanging by a thread”, and also continuously warn of coming disasters.
Could all this be pointing to a Mitt Romney presidency in 2012? Could a President Romney be the White Horse and save us from all the other prophecies surrounding 2012? And, what would the Mormon Church expect in return for bringing us this great savior?
