Ricci was innocent and was beaten upside the head with weights in prison, that’s how he died. This is from the inside. Did the rat cops ever apologize ?, Nah, never; with Salt Lake PD having a high amount of officer/pedestrian shootings would never admit such a dragnet. So little Eliza heard the search party calling out her name near her house and said nothing; little miss scam was at a large party next to the cop shop amongst loads of people and never sounded off; little miss victim was kept in salt lake for 9 months and after caught walking along state street in sandy city still denied who she was. she loved the adventure she was on hiding from daddy while richard took the brunt of this farce. Sham and a scam little miss do gooder.

None of this ever felt right to me either. Richard Ricci did some work for the Smarts and they refused to pay him what they had agreed upon. Told him he could have that car they were trying to sell or nothing, what was he going to do, take them to court? He didn’t have the money to do that. So of course he took the car that had her DNA all over it, the rest is history.
The Smart’s house was up for sale when all this happened, after she was grabbed money was rolling in to assist in finding her and the house was no longer for sale.
She was in public where she could have run and gotten help, she didn’t. She was gone for 9 months, what usually happens in 9 months???
I think this was all part of a plan by known parties that went terribly wrong when the crazy man was chosen to assist.
I feel very sorry for Elizabeth in all of this, she truly was a victim.

Anyone who is open and fair minded in this case will immediately recognize the obvious fact that Ms Smart did indeed willingly go along with her captor for reasons that may well have been to do with the idea of adventure, and being “lusted after” by an older man. She may even have enjoyed the love triangle, and even the sexual experiences. However all this aside, an innocent man was slain by “the system” and the talking heads responsible think nothing of it.
To me the US is looking more and more like the old Soviet Union, and Russia is looking more and more like the old US west (when it was run by the gun)
